Varsity vs Union County High School Win The New Castle High School boys varsity soccer team opened their season with a 2-0 win over the visiting Union County Patriots. Ethan Ma opened the scoring when he converted a penalty that was awarded in the the visitor's box, after Evan Millikan was fouled in the 7th minute of the match. The second goal was scored by Caden Johnson in the 15th minute, when he collected a pass from Jack Betram, split two defenders, and finished the play with a shot to the corner of the goal. There was no score in the 2nd half. Andrew Christman ended the match with 6 keeper saves.
