We knew Connersville was a really good team returning a good majority of their team from last year including their top 3 singles guys. Our three seniors led the way to victory sweeping the singles courts. Leo, Vincent, and Matt played great. 1 Doubles also played a great match, going back and forth, in the second set with a very strong team. 1S - Leo Underhill won 6-1, 6-1 2S - Vincent Farris won 6-1, 5-7, 6-0 3S - Matt Hastings won 6-3, 6-1 1D - Austin Nunez/Cameron Hastings lost 1-6, 4-6 2D - Trenton Boughton/Dylan Blackford lost 1-6, 2-6 JV suffered a loss to a good and athletic Spartan team. Varsity record is now 14-2 and travel to district 4, #1 ranked New Palestine on Wednesday for a 4:30 start time.
