The girls soccer team picked up their second win of the season on Thursday, shutting out Centerville 3-0. Carlee Lanzer led off for the Trojans, picking up a first half goal off an assist from Chelsie Groce. A few minutes later, Audra Cornett put in a long goal from just outside the penalty area to put the Trojans up 2-0. The third goal of the night came in the second half off of a penalty kick from Carlee Lanzer. Allison Perdue played in goal and had 9 saves. The defensive back line of Corinne Harvey, Colbie Jackson, Macie Morehouse, Audrey Tafoya, and Bailee Smith played a great game, severely limiting the Bulldogs time of possession and opportunities to score. The Trojans play again on Monday when they travel to Richmond.
