New Castle High School

Last night the Boys and Girls Cross Country team competed in the Arabian Roundup vs. other surrounding schools. The girls placed 4th place as a team. Anyah Amman finished 4th, Lauren Gilman finished 11th, Catherine Willis 25th, Sylvie Terrell 27th, Audra Nichols 46th, Annabelle Rector 47th and Elizabeth Merritt 56th. Boys- The boys placed 9th overall as team. Drennan Terrell placed 44th, Elijah Blankenship 45th, Samuel Huynh 50th, Jordan Cook 53rd, Dylan Bunner 61st, Carter Atwood 66th, and Michael McKee 74th Girls - JV no Team score 1 runner 20th Boys JV NO team score 19th, 22nd and 23rd I felt the team did very well considering the heat. We had two girls in the top 20. The girls team really looked strong and it was a great start to the 5k season. The boys team really came thru in a good pack and this will really help our team scoring as the boys team improves thru out the season.
