The girls tennis team defeated Shenandoah last night 5-0 to advance to Friday's Sectional Championship Match. At the start of the season, goal #1 was to bring back the Sectional Trophy and tonight we will be playing for that goal. All the girls played really good last night against an improved Shenandoah team from the first time we played with them. All matches were won in straight sets. 1S - Morley Blessinger won 6-0, 6-0 2S - Peyton Blessinger won 6-1, 6-0 3S - Ashlynn Blessinger won 6-1, 6-0 1D - Jaylee Bush/Emma Harris won 7-5, 6-1 2D - Teagan Brown/Cadence Armacost won 6-2, 6-0 The Trojans will play Knightstown for the title with a start time of 5:00 at the Luddy Tennis Center.
