New Castle High School

The Trojans defeated Anderson 5-0 on Senior Night. We celebrated our 6 seniors: Morley, Teagan, Jaylee, Payton, Lauren, and Matthew. These seniors have left their marks on the New Castle Tennis Program. With the Sectional set to start Wednesday, our regular season record ends at 15-3 overall and 4-3 in the very difficult Hoosier Heritage Conference. The lineup looked a little different tonight with seniors playing mixed around different spots. Shout out to Lauren Watterson for winning her first ever varsity match! 1S Peyton Blessinger won 6-0, 6-0 2S Ashlynn Blessinger won 6-0, 6-0 3S Cloe Poe won 6-0, 6-2 1D Teagan Brown/Payton Dolce won 6-0, 6-0 2D Morley Blessinger/Lauren Watterson won 6-0, 6-0 JV also won 2-0. Singles winner was Lauren Gilman and the doubles winners were Emma Harris and Cadence Armacost.
