This past Saturday, the Trojan JV squad hosted an 8 team invitational. One team had to back out due to scheduling conflicts so the 8th team was a mix of 3 different teams. New Palestine won the event with 29 points, but the Trojans had champions in 2 of the 5 flights. #1 singles Payton Dolce and #3 singles Cloe Poe both went 3-0 on the day to claim their individual flight medals. Lauren Gilman went 1-2 at #2 singles to finish 7th, #1 doubles Delaney Ryan/Makayla Flynn went 1-2 to finish 4th place and #2 doubles Lauren Watterson/Emmarie Murphy went 1-2 for a 6th place finish. Final team standings: 1 - New Palestine - 29 points 2 - East Central - 27 points 3 - Shenandoah - 22 points 4 - New Castle & Jay County - 21 points 5 - Lincoln(multiple schools) - 8 points 6 - Knightstown - 7 points 7 - Blue River - 5 points
