The boys started the 2026 season off at home with a gritty 3-2 win over Richmond. It was nice to finally get some good weather and play some tennis. Singles wins came from Scott Gilman at #2 and Dylan Blackford at #3. And the #2 doubles team of Ayden Arnold and Kade Siewert picked up their first career varsity wins. Cormac Stilwell filled in at #1 singles and played one of the top players in our district and the Denney Boys, Braiden and Blake, filled in at #1 doubles and lost a tough 3rd set tiebreaker. 1S - Cormac Stilwell lost 0-6, 0-6 2S - Scott Gilman won 6-1, 7-5 3S - Dylan Blackford won 6-4, 6-0 1D - Braiden Denney and Black Denney lost 3-6, 7-6(6), 7-10 2D - Ayden Arnold and Kade Siewert won 6-2, 6-3 JV split their matches 3-3 with the Red Devils. Picking up the singles wins for the Trojans were Henry Lansinger, Dakota Huntley, and Noah Logan. Rounding out the JV match were Grant Brown, Ezra Schacht, and Gabe Malek. The Trojans travel to Centerville Wednesday night with a 5:00 start time against the Bulldogs.
