Girls Tennis picks up HHC win over Pendleton Heights

The girls toughed out a hard fought 3-2 win over Pendleton on Tuesday night. Peyton took care of business and was dominant at 1 singles, dropping only 1 game. Ashlynn got off to a little slow start, but recovered nicely to win 12 out of the last 13 games. Emma and Cadence played a strong Pendleton duo that was their 1 and 2 singles from a season ago to get the W. Lydia and Lauren played a fantastic 2nd set, but ultimately lost in a 3rd set tiebreak. Kaylee played a tough opponent with strong groundstrokes. 1S - Peyton Blessinger won 6-1, 6-0 2S - Ashlynn Blessinger won 6-4, 6-1 3S - Kaylee Tipton lost 0-6, 2-6 1D - Emma Harris/Cadence Armacost won 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 2D - Lydia Razor/Laurent Gilman lost 2-6, 6-0, 6-7(7) The JV fell to the Arabians. Delaney Ryan picked up a strong win at 1 singles in a tiebreaker and the doubles team of Halston Nantz and Kat McCoy played a great match for their win.
