The boys made the trip down to Connersville Monday evening and came home with a 4-1 victory. Both doubles teams came out strong and finished their matches not far apart, each winning in straight sets. Matt Hastings played a very patient match at 3 singles to lock up the team win. And Vincent Farris coming off a sickness that prevented him from playing a couple matches won a 3rd set tiebreaker at 2 singles. Great win against a previously ranked Connersville team. 1S - Leo Underhill lost 1-6, 1-6 2S - Vincent Farris won 5-7, 7-6, 10-2 3S - Matt Hastings won 6-3, 6-3 1D - Caden Blackford/Jake Jenkins won 6-3, 6-2 2D - Austin Nunez/Cameron Hastings won 6-3, 6-1 JV took a loss with Trenton Boughton picking up a singles win. Varsity record is now 12-4 on the season and face New Palestine at home Wednesday night.
