Junior Ryne Sturgis led all scorers with 17 points as New Castle defeated future conference opponent Shenandoah 53-41 at The Fieldhouse. The Trojans used a 15-6 third quarter to turn a seven point halftime lead into a 16 point cushion thanks to a combined nine points in the third from sophomores Luke Mendoza and Nick Godby. Senior Mason Miller had 14 for the Trojans while senior Garrett May led the Raiders with 16. The JV won 46-26. The Trojans are back in action Tuesday, February 24th when they host another future conference opponent in Lapel.
