Offensively, the Trojans could never get in a rhythm against the pressure defense of the Muncie Central Bearcats. The Trojans handled the pressure fine and took care of the basketball, but we just could not get shots to fall consistently. We know we have to knock down shots to beat good teams and we did not do that Friday night to beat a talented Bearcats team. Luke Bumbalough had a good offensive night. He got to the basket anytime he wanted and hot shots from the outside. Blake Burris was able to knock down 3 three pointers on the night for the Trojans. Defensively, the Trojans did not do a great job of guarding the basketball. We let the Bearcats players drive around us and get to the rim at will. We have to do a better job of sliding over and having help side defense, and we have to guard the basketball better. The Trojans need to do a better job of blocking out and controlling the glass.
