Girls Track Regional Results: Congratulations to freshman Tristan Barr who qualified for the State Track meet in the Pole Vault last evening with a jump of 11 feet 2 inches while breaking her own School record and placing 3rd overall in the Ben Davis regional. Also congratulations to the 4×400 meter relay team of (Grace Smith, Gabby Williams, Tristan Barr, Bailey Cox) who smashed the School Record set in 1992 of 4:20.5 by running 4:14.76 and placing 12th. Other outstanding performances were by Bailey Cox with a lifetime best in the 1600 meters at 5:29.59 placing 10th and an 11th place finish in the 800 meters; Grace Smith with a 9th place in Pole Vault at 9 feet; Emma Thurman with a 16 place finish in High Jump at 4 feet 10 inches. Tristan will be participating in the State Meet at IU Bloomington at 3:00pm on Friday, June 1.
