The Trojan swimmers won their first meet of the season beating both Muncie Burris and University in a three-way meet this past weekend. The boys 200 Medley Relay team of Connor Griffey, Aidan Sipes, Ben Hall, and Jackson Criswell started the meet strong by winning the first event. The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Sipes, Luke Atterson, Trenton Round, and Dominique Strunk came back to place 2nd, and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Criswell, Andrew Lacey, Griffey, and Hall, finished out the meet in a dominating win to finish off the meet. One of the highlights of the meet came when Ben Hall and Andrew Lacey swept the top 2 spots in the 200 Individual Medley. Also, individually, Aidan Sipes was a double winner for the Trojans, taking first place in the 100 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke. Jackson Criswell won the Diving event, and Andrew Lacey won the 500 Freestyle. 2nd place finishes for the Trojans were Luke Atterson, in the 200 Freestyle and Connor Griffey in the 100 Backstroke. Finishing in 3rd place in their events were Connor Griffey, in the 50 Freestyle and Ben Hall, in the 100 Butterfly. The Trojans will head back to Muncie on Tuesday night to swim against Muncie Central.
