The Trojan boys swimmers, had a great 3-way meet against Muncie Burris and University High School. Tying University and coming in a close 2nd to Burris. The Trojans were led by Jackson Criswell winning both the 50 and 100 Freestyle, and Luke Atterson taking home a 2nd place in the 100 Breaststroke and 3rd place in the 500 Free. Other 3rd place finishes were Connor Griffey in the 100 Free and 100 Backstroke, Jacob Boyce in the 200 Free, Ben Hall in the 200 IM, and Jacob Lucas in the 50 Free. The 200 Free Relay team of Hall, Lucas, Griffey, and Criswell won their event, and the Medley Relay team of Griffey, Atterson, Boyce, and Criswell placed 2nd. Overall, it was a fun meet. The boys swam really well, and had good times. As a coach it’s fun to watch the hard work that they’ve put in pay off with their times in the pool. Andrew Lacey, is another swimmer I want to point out, he has been working extremely hard, and has now dropped 18 seconds from his fastest 100 Breaststroke from last year in only 2 meets. With 1 Junior, 1 Sophomore, and 5 Freshman, I’m very excited for the future with how well this group is coming together.
