The boys swim team dominated a short handed Muncie Central team, Tuesday night, winning 8 of the 12 events, including seeping the relays. Andrew Lacey and Ben Hall were double winners on the evening. Lacey swam to wins in the 200 IM and the 500 Freestyle. Hall won the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke. Jackson Criswell swam to a very close win in the 50 Freestyle, just barely out-touching the Central swimmer at the wall. Luke Atterson had a pair of second place swims in the 500 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke. Aidan Sipes also finished 2nd in the 200 IM and the 100 Freestyle. Connor Griffey placed 2nd in the 100 Butterfly and 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke. The following swimmers all placed 3rd in their individual races: Paul Huynh, in the 200 Freestyle, Sam Hastings, in the 50 Freestyle, Dominique Strunk, in the 100 Butterfly, Aidan Thurman, in the 100 Freestyle, and Aidan Shunneson, in the 500 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke. All of the following relays were victorious: the 200 Medley Relay team of Hall, Sipes, Strunk, and Lacey, the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Hall, Griffey, Strunk, and Criswell, and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Strunk, Sipes, Criswell, and Griffey. Other relays that scored points for the team were: the 200 Medley Relay of Atterson, Shunneson, Kaleb Carter, and Thurman, the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Huynh, Hastings, Wyatt Barrett, and Lacey, and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Shunneson, Carter, Hastings, and Atterson. The boys will next be in action on Thursday night against New Palestine and Eastern Hancock.
