The New Castle High School boys varsity soccer team hosted conference opponent Pendleton Heights on Tuesday night. Pendleton controlled the run of play, but had trouble finding openings against a very focused and hard playing Trojan team. The Arabians were finally able to break through for a couple of first half goals. The match finished with PHHS finding the net one more time in the 2nd half. The Trojan boys never stopped fighting, and overall played well, but ended up on the wrong side of a 3-0 score. The Trojans next take on Rushville on Thursday at Neal Field.
