The New Castle High School boys varsity soccer team went on the road to try to collect their first conference win of the season on the field of the Delta Eagles. In what looked like a promising start, after a Skylor Stevenson goal from a free kick that he took from about 35 yards out in the 2nd minute of the match gave the Trojans a 1-0 lead, the Trojan boys failed to match the intensity of Delta for the remainder of the match. The result, a 2-2 halftime tie, and a 4-2 victory for the home team. New Castle is now set to take on another conference opponent, when Pendleton Heights makes the trip over to Neal Field tomorrow.
