Offensively, the Trojans did a really nice job at handling Anderson’s full court pressure man-to-man defense. The Indians tried to double team Bumbalough to get the basketball out of his hands, but we had other guys step up and handle the basketball. The Trojans pushed the basketball and found the open guy for shots. The Trojans had another great night from the free throw line. Defensively, the Trojans played solid pack line defense and contested the shots of shooters from Anderson. Anderson had a few guys get hot and hit shots, so the Trojans adjusted defenses at times to try to get them to think and force them to make tough decisions with the basketball. The Trojans caused closed to 20 turnovers on the Indians. The Trojans did a nice job at bending but not breaking against the Indians. Anderson caused the Trojans to do some different things and our guys adjusted and made plays.
