New Castle Trojans Varsity snatched the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over Lapel on Monday. The game was tied at two with New Castle Trojans Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Triston Chesher doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. New Castle Trojans Varsity pitchers struck out two, while Lapel pitchers sat down five.
Lapel got things moving in the second inning, when an error scored one run for Lapel.
