In the boys meet, New Castle’s swimmers had a really good meet, only to lose again on the last relay. Aidan Sipes was a double winner for the Trojans in the 100 IM and 400 Free. Jacob Johnson won the 100 Backstroke and placed 2nd in the 50 Butterfly. Noah Phelps had a couple of 2nd place finishes in the 200 and 400 Free. Brody Goode placed 2nd in the 100 Free and 3rd in the 50. James Harris brought home a 3rd place finish in the 100 Breaststroke. In the relays, our 200 Medley Relay team of Shaun Moore, Sipes, Johnson, and Goode tied for 2nd place. The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Moore, Harris, Paul Huynh, and Phelps placed 2nd, and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Sipes, Goode, Phelps, and Johnson placed 2nd. The boys next swim tonight, Thursday, against Yorktown.
