The Trojan boys showed that they can run in a large meet as most all of the Trojan runners showed improvement in the fifteen team field. The team finished ahead of 8 teams, including Mt. Vernon, who had placed 19 points ahead of NC two days before at the Conference meet.The team also narrowed the gap considerably on Conference foe New Palestine.
Jaykwan led the team with an impressive 12th place finish in the 108 runner field with 11:38, his best and fastest race of the year. Gavin Frazier was 25th in 11:59. Bradley Henderson was 33rd and Harry Callaway 55th. Colton Lawson had his best run of the season to be the team’s final scoring member, with Logan Slinker less than a second behind and Marshall Snell just six seconds back.
In the boys’ open race, the members again showed wonderful improvement. The biggest gains came from Sam Brewster, Jeremiah Alverado, Tyler Thurman, and Jonathon Wells.
Congratulations to all of those with personal bests . The finishes the season with a 16 and 15 record.
