New Castle Trojans Freshman Can’t Catch Up To Pendleton Heights
New Castle Trojans Freshman watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-0 loss to Pendleton Heights on Wednesday. Pendleton Heights scored on a single by Macmillan, a fielder’s choice by Robbins, a single by Harris, and a double by Donati in the first inning.
The New Castle Trojans Freshman struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Pendleton Heights, giving up 11 runs.
Pendleton Heights got on the board in the first inning. Pendleton Heights scored one run when Macmillan singled.
One bright spot for New Castle Trojans Freshman was a single by Dylan Beck in the first inning.
Aaron Reagan started the game for New Castle Trojans Freshman. He allowed eight hits and six runs over two and a third innings, walking one. Jacob Lucas and Carter Dickerson entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
