In Walkoff, New Castle Trojans Freshman Loses To Lawrence North
It came down to the last play, but New Castle Trojans Freshman was on the wrong end of an 8-7 defeat to Lawrence North on Wednesday. The game was tied at seven with Lawrence North batting in the bottom of the eighth when #16 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Jacob Lucas drove in four runners in the loss. Lucas drove in runs on a single in the third, a single in the fifth, and a double in the seventh.
New Castle Trojans Freshman opened up scoring in the second inning, when an error scored one run for New Castle Trojans Freshman.
In the top of the seventh inning, New Castle Trojans Freshman tied things up at seven. Aaron Reagan singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
