Game Recap

NCMS 7th grade lost Wednesday night to Anderson Highland 14-6. It was a sloppy contest for the young Trojans as they committed 5 turnovers in the game and just couldn’t get going offensively. Defensively, the Trojans couldn’t get Anderson’s RB down, hitting him in the backfield many times, but he broke tackles and scored twice. New Castle’s score came on an Aidan Bradley 37 yard TD run, where he went left, cut back and went all the way across the field to the right side and scored, aided by a HUGE block from Jonathan Eberhart. Bradley also hit Quinton Boatright on a 25 yard gain. Brevan Thrine led the defense with 2 forced fumbles and mulitple tackles for loss. Jalen Stiles also had a fumble recovery.

I am very proud of my team. These 21 kids give it all every day in practice, and play hard. Sometimes games don’t go the way we know they should, but we come back and practice the next day. These kids are proud to be Trojans.

NCMS is back in action next Monday at Connersville and ends the season next Wednesday at home against Pendleton.
