Meet Recap
The Hoosier Heritage Conference meet came with great weather this year and was won by host Pendleton with 19 points. New Castle was 8th in the meet. New Castle’s Shelby Mills ran a great race to place 17th in 22:01and earn All-Conference honors. She was followed by Cate Brock in 30th (23:13) being hindered by an injury. Other places went to: Megan Mills 43rd, Regan Millikan 46th, Grace Lewis 52nd, Samantha Alspaugh 53rd, and Cheyanne Lazzell 54th. Running in the JV race was Gabby Williams (28:38) and Sarah Lucas (43:19). The girls next race is the Sectional held at Connersville at 10:30am next Saturday Sept. 8th.
