The boys tennis team came into the season young and with little varsity experience.  By the end of the season, they won a sectional title and gained a significant amount of experience that will carry them forward into 2015-16.  New Castle defeated county rivals Blue River and Tri on their way to the 2014 sectional crown.

The Trojans’ season came to a close five days later as they lost to Batesville 4-1 in the semifinals of the IHSAA Regional.  Cayden Smekens earned the lone victory for New Castle at #3 singles 6-2, 6-7, 6-2.  David Bennett put up a fight at #2 singles, but fell in three sets.

New Castle finished the season 7-10.
