| The Trojans made the long journey down south the Martinsville Saturday night. After coming off an impressive win Friday at home to Anderson, the Trojans were hoping to ride the momentum and sweep the weekend. It may have been the travel or the physicality of the Martinsville players, but New Castle could not match the home teams energy, especially in the 2nd half. Martinsville was in control much of the game. The Trojans made a small run that gave hope of a comeback, but that soon faded as Martinsville was just too much inside and ended up with a convincing victory 68-46. Leading the way for the Trojans was Austin Orr with 13pts and Kyle Bumbalough with 10. New Castle plays its final 2 games of the regular season Thursday and Senior Night on Friday. |
