New Castle earned a 2-0 victory over Bedford North Lawrence in the 2nd game of the Hoosier Cup in Bloomington Saturday afternoon which marked the 4th shutout of the season. The first goal was provided by Ryan Jones which knocked in a header off of a Tyler Broyles long throw in at the ten minute mark. In the second half Matheus Cecchini scored a 35 yard chip over the keepers head in the 74 minute. Sam Thompson had 4 saves in 80 minutes in goal and was assisted by Kenny Martin and Tim Welch as part of his defensive line. The Trojans used the entire roster and got great effort from all members who contributed in this win.
