Trojan Tennis sweeps Pendleton Heights 5-0

The girls tennis team got in the Hoosier Heritage Conference win column in a big way Tuesday night with a 5-0 sweep of Pendleton Heights. The Trojans only lost a combined 9 games across the five flights. This is the first HHC win for the Trojans since 2019, so it was a special one for our seniors. 1 Singles - Morley Blessinger won 6-1, 6-1 2 Singles - Peyton Blessinger won 6-0, 6-1 3 Singles - Ashlynn Blessinger won 6-1, 6-1 1 Doubles - Emma Harris/Jaylee Bush won 6-2, 6-1 2 Doubles - Cadence Armacost/Teagan Brown won 6-1, 6-0 The JV also won a 5-4 match over the Arabians. Singles winners were Payton Dolce and Cloe Poe(twice) and the doubles teams of Watkuweis Watson/Chelsie Groce and Makayla Flynn/Dolce. Varsity record is now 6-1 overall and 1-1 in HHC matches. We hit the road Thursday for a match at Jay County before competing in the Richmond Invitational on Saturday.
